Optional analytics.

We use Google Analytics only after you allow optional analytics. It helps us understand visits, referring channels, cacao-finder choices, and clicks to sellers. Google processes browser/device and network information to provide this service. Our custom events contain page, merchant and product identifiers, fixed entry-point labels and choices such as plain or spiced cacao; they do not contain names, email addresses, payment details, or search text.

We limit page URLs sent by our tracking code to the page path and known campaign tags. Referrers are reduced to the originating website. We do not enable advertising personalization in our tag. Google Analytics is a third-party service: read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.

Choose Allow or Reject using Analytics preferences in the footer. Either choice leaves the site usable. Your preference is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. No analytics library is loaded before opt-in. We also keep analytics off when this browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

You can withdraw through the same controls. We stop sending custom events and remove our accessible Google Analytics cookies. This does not erase data already sent to Google; requests already in transit cannot be recalled. Reload the page before enabling again after withdrawal. Browser restrictions may prevent a preference from being saved.

What stays in your browser.

Saved reads are stored locally, without an account or synchronization. Your analytics preference and optional browser-exclusion setting also use local storage. Clearing site data removes those choices. Analytics cookies, if you consent, are configured with a maximum 180-day lifetime without automatic extension by our tag. Development previews never send analytics.

Site search and calculator inputs run in the browser; our custom analytics does not collect their values. For your own test visits, use the exclusion below. It applies to this browser, not every device, and is not a substitute for checking report quality.

Hosting, email and other websites.

Hostinger serves this website and may process standard access and security logs, including network addresses and requested URLs. Those server records are separate from optional Google Analytics. If you email us, your address and message are processed to handle your request. Do not include sensitive personal information.

Seller and social links lead to other companies' websites with their own policies. We do not receive your payment details or operate the seller's checkout. A measured seller click does not establish a completed purchase or a credited commission.
